Damn..I love working for myself!

After reading the Post about the Email sent to Employees (from the IT Guy) it brought to mind why I left the Corporate world and decided to work for myself.

Being an IT person and Tech (MSCE and all that crap) It makes life SO much easier to be a consultant and free-lance tech.
I make about the same money, I can sleep in just about anytime I want..I don't have to put up with Corporate Emails that Threaten your Job or happiness or a Boss that has a "Hitler complex" or any of the workplace bullshit that we all have been through.
Oh..True..I do encounter pricks once in a while but since I know that after the job is done, I don't have to see them anymore... (at least until they call again)... I deal with it easily.

Again..After reading that "Corporate IT bullshit" Post..I feel I'm a Lucky Man. :)

I'm going out on a limb here without steady pay, but damn, I love not reading emails from schmucks threatening my livlihood.

Realtors are independent contractors in my state. I'm so glad i'm my own boss. Plus I get to work on the oceanfront and wear flip flops, shorts and hawaiian shirts as work attire.

Not to mention stare at bikinis all day from my office. I love perks!
