I just want to make sure I'm not the only one pushing close to 40 that digs it. ;)

My ex-husband is 42 and he did. I didn't buy it, but then again, the point is moot because I'm still too young. :D

11. Ah. Thank you for the edumacation.
Now: since there's an advisory on the label, does that mean that "nine inch nails" refers to some self-aggrandized male body part? :)

19. No kidding,
I would've seen you on tour, then!

As it was I have to admit Robin Finck was pretty outstanding. Obviously he just plays exactly what Trent tells him to, but he really added some muscle live.

And it seems like Danny Lahner almost gets to be "in the Band."

Although I should ask--who's with NIN this time around?

22. all I know is Robin Finck left for...
Guns And Roses! talk about a downgrade. That failed miseralbly too. Still no album release from Axl. Before that he played for Cirque du Soleil. That would've been a cool gig.

I got to hang with them after an S.F. show back in 1994. They were all really cool. The drummer had fresh stitches in his head from Trent's stage antics.

26. Robin was back for the tour for
The Fragile--however he isn't credited on the album, so I think he missed out because of ol' Axl. That's a tough break.

I think I saw the last show on the Downward Spiral tour (it was in LaCrosse WI--so it was near the end at any rate) and you could tell they knew they didn't have to work in the morning! There was a thirty minute delay after they broke the drum kit, Robin was all liquored up so Trent pulled his pants down and pushed him into the crowd. All in all, it looked like they had a great time! They still nailed all of their parts though.

I'm sorry you didn't get the gig

What are you up to these days?

28. yeah that tour was like a hockey match
I still have a piece of the Yamaha DX7 synth Trent smashed up on stage. They had to stop the show for 20 minutes when he threw his guitar at the drummer and busted his head open.

This is what I'm up to now. Quite the opposite of industrial metal. :)

I get airplay on XM but that's about it.

At least from the sound of the site intro--do you get played on Visions? Or which other channel? I'm big fan of Musiclab and Fine Tunings.

The only thing I've done is contribute one song to this project:
http://kuwona.users4.50megs.com/isindex.html

The guy hasn't updated in almost five years and I doubt they made more than 150 copies, but technically, it was commercially available..

I went from British Heavy Metal (Priest, Maiden) to Industrial (NIN) to some odd fingerstyle accoustic stuff.

I'll listen for your stuff on XM

Broken and The Downward Spiral are two of my all time favorites...how does this compare to those? I do like The Fragile too.

For the record I'm 35
