Do people at work think it's normal if you talk to yourself?

When I used to work at a regular job a lot computer people - including me - talked to themselves. Now even if I see a client and do so, they think nothing of when a IT guy does it. I think it has do with people in the more psychologically intense fields.

This reminds me of another topic to post, about being 'ambidextrous' on a computer. Working with a lefthanded on one computer and a right mouse on another computer at the same time.
