I saw the most wonderful thing on my porch today!

A whole bunch of packed-up boxes, a shelf stereo system, a spent keg, a surfboard (? I live in Milwaukee), and some bags of clothes, sporting goods, etc.

The door to the upper apartment was propped open, and there were people outside, affixing tie-down cords to a pickup truck.

In other words....I got rid of at least one of the boys upstairs!!!

Dumpster divers are out in force this week.
I think the woman next door might have moved (or, for all I know, died), because there was massive trash in front of the house this morning. When I got home, there were two men, picking through the trash and loading salvaged items into their car.

6. Suggestion: a good lease breaker. Go to all the local resale shops...

...and garage sales. Buy gas cans (be sure they are empty) and propane tanks. Carry them in and out of your house several times each day.
