Especially when they have cold pasta in them. My mom makes a terrific potato salad with oil and vinegar dressing, chunks of potato, tomato, and onion (which I pick out) and some oregano.

But I voted for Potato Salad, 'cause I made some just the other day. YUM. "Extras": Chopped Egg, Crisp Crumbled Bacon, Chopped Celery, Minced Red Onion.

When I make macaroni salad, and if I'm 'flush' at the time, I put real crab meat in it. Otherwise, it's just celery and bell pepper.

Salt&Pepper
Mayonaise:enough to coat everything but not enough to be visbile at a distance.
