They should at least screen for some sort of coherency. Spelling, grammar, knowledge of movies.

2. I think it's Orchestrated

Look at the reviews for a classic, like "Lawrence of Arabia" or "Casablanca". There's always some dweep reviewer, who says "Lawrence" is "slow and stupid" or that "Casablanca" had this skanky blonde chick in it.

I figure Amazon puts those reviews there for the Gen-X types to read.

Or, on the other hand, maybe there are just that many morons in the world.

the morons are probably underrepresented on Amazon.com, which is even more depressing.

5. Not Gen-X; we're into retro classicism.

We're the ones who made the 40s hip again, who brought back the martini and Broadway and arthouse revivals.

We get Casablanca and North By Northwest and wrote papers on them in college. Pop culture fascinates us.
