Anyone else have finals coming up?

I'm luckier than some in that I'm doing well in most of my classes, but philosophy is kicking my ass, so I'm spending most of the weekend studying, studying, and studying and looking over notes and reading. I can't wait for next week to be over!

1. My one final

is on Monday, but I have to proctor another that night, and then grade those tests.

I also have a paper due on Monday, but most of the projects/papers came crashing down last week.

Try bouncing some of the concepts you're having trouble with off a friend who isn't taking the class. They don't have to understand them -- somehow, though, it will help you get a handle on them.

Get a good night's sleep before your exams and eat a good breakfast. I used to carry a banana for a brain-food snack between exams.
I also carried a small sachet of fresh rosemary. Crush it and inhale the scent -- eases stress (and headache) and you know what the Greeks said; rosemary for memory. Students would wear circlets of rosemary during their tests!

I'd also like to add that I like to bring Skittles or something.

Your brain burns though calories -- bring some sugar. It'll help you think. However, don't eat too much and crash :).
