I picked up a hookah!

Anyone ever smoke using one of these? (BTW I'm talking about tobacco!) I occasionally have a pipe or cigar-no cigs anymore, quit 4 years ago-but I have never smoked anything as smooth as this. It's amazing-really flavorful without being harsh in the least.

I'd hate to spoil it with tobacco though. Hookahs are nice, they burn slow and draw smooth.

7. As far as tobacco goes

the traditional shishah is extremely smooth and flavorful. It's hard to believe you're smoking.

8. My aunt gave one to my Dad for Christmas many years ago.

She told him it was a Turkish Water Pipe. Mind you, my Dad was a pastor in a small town. I don't know if my Mom or Dad knew what it was, because they set it out on the coffee table in the living room. My brother and I were too little to think anything about it. Years later, when my brother and I got into high school and college, friends would come by, of course the number one question was, "Why is there a bong in your living room?"

Dad actually did smoke tobacco in it a few times. He said he liked it, but of course it's not as portable as a regular pipe.
