PeeDee is limping again- bloody paw- off to the Vet in the AM.

This is the second time in a year she has had a limp. This time she has some blood on the paw. I tried to see where the blood was coming from but I am unable to locate the source. My Vet (Dr. West in the town of Wartrace, TN.) is great though. He only charged 35 bucks last time which included an overnight stay and pain medication. Get this, I had 4 of my males neutered, 6 vacinations and 6 dogs boarded at his kennel for a week. The bill was only 400 dollars.

I can't believe my luck, the only day I have off this week until Monday is tommorow. I always worry that one of the gang will get hurt on a workday and I will have to call in to work. They wouldn't understand my commitment to take care of a mere animal.

Shes the beta female, very docile and playful. She never barks but does have a screaming howl when the moon is full.

We had a dog that would get what amounted to sebaceous cysts between her pads and toes, and they would pop, bleed and be painful. I hope all is well. :hug:

I don't know if this will help, but my Lab used to get ulcers between his toes in the webbing. He was a worrier, so if he had time to think about it he would lick it until it bled. He had them so frequently that I just kept the area clean and it would eventually heal. I hope she is feeling better soon.
