3. *raises hand*
It's me. I'm the one with the best taste in music. Though I'd nominate Koolzip ahead of myself, if he didn't like the Dead.

11. I would have thought it would be you but..
I never heard of half the music you talk about here. But considering you have the best taste...it is probably great music.

12. I'm not sure if I have the best taste, but I will say this.....
All my heroes last. Everyone of them. No artist that I've ever put up on a pedestal ever sold out, or ever went away. My big 5...

Eno
Costello
Wilson
Ferry
Partridge

All still either making or producing groundbreaking music with no end in sight.... Well Bryan Ferry as tapered off a bit, but he still released a very good disc just about 18 months ago and he looks absolutely fabulous.

21. That's a fine list
I'm not as familiar with some, but know who they are.
Strange thing is..all my heroes have died after they became my heroes. I think music is the way it is today because everyone is afraid of me liking their stuff..they want to live a little longer.

What about Punch the Clock?

What about that song "She" he recorded for the Notting Hill soundtrack?

14. My tastes are too eclectic - I need to be pickier
if I'm going to claim I have good taste.

23. Naw
The cool thing is..you can like whatever you want and no one should give a damn but you. Being too picky can keep you from hearing some great music.

28. me
i know a ridiculous amount about both obscure and mainstream and only listen to the best of all of it

there are clearly defined lines between good and bad music and i am prepared to debate the merits or faults of any particular song

basically, i am right, and your favorite band sucks

30. I know I don't have the best taste in music,
and I'm not as informed as I should be on the what's the lastest "thing."

However, I know that I like rhythm bands (The Police) and good guitarists (Hendrix, Santana). I like Mozart and I DON't like the Grateful Dead...sorry to all you Deadheads out there. :hi:

I like different music for different times of the day and different moods. Whatever fits the situation!
