7. It's pretty good
I vowed to cut the fried, gunky (delicious) food out of my diet and try to eat healthier. If I'm true to form I'll make it about a week and then I'll mug an old woman for a mozzerella stick.

34. Oh sorry
They're Indian "dumplings" sort of made of various vegetables in chickpea flour and deep fried. It was a special treat since I don't eat deep fried very often. They're yummy. :-)

25. I googled .. sounds yummy
http://www.indiaforvisitors.com/food/appetizers/pakora.htm

Ingredients Amount
Chickpea Flour (Besan) 1 cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
Salt 1 1/2 teaspoon
Chopped Green Chillies (Jalapeno) 1-2 each
Water 1/2 cup
Potato 1 each
Cauliflower 1 small
Cabbage 2
Spinach 5 sliced
Sliced Onion 1 1/2 cup

Preparation

* Boil the potato until just tender, peel and chop finely.
* Finely chop cauliflower and onion. Shred the cabbage and spinach.
* Mix first set of ingredients well. Beat in a blender for 4-5 minutes to incorporate air (this will make the batter fluffier).
* Let batter rest 1/2 hour in a warm place
* Add the vegetables and mix in evenly.
* Deep fry in oil that is heated to 375°.
* Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.

Condiments

Serve with cilantro or mint chutney or tomato ketchup

24. My bosses took me to La Chaumiere, a French restaurant in Georgetown
(Washington, DC)

I was bowled over. I had

Iced Tea (strong, cold, perfect)
la salad du la maison
linguine in white sauce with crab, mushrooms, spinach (sorry, don't remember the French name)
Gran Marnier souffle
cappucino

Oh. My. God. I think it ranks up there among the finest meals I have ever had.

Besides that, we had a great time. We talked a lot about a lot of stuff (four attorneys and me). I am an equal on this team; I really felt it today.

I really like secretary's day this year. :) I'm very fortunate.

It wasn't alcoholic; I could just tell it had Gran Marnier in it -- I could kinda taste the liquor up inside my head. It was wet and puffy and hard to describe. Very, very good. Mmmmm....
