57. I have dozens of geckos on my patio
and my cat loves them. I'll leave it to your imagination as to what he does with them. When I found one swimming, still alive, in his water bowl, I came to the conclusion that he is a Republican, running his own Abu Ghraib right under my nose.

17. Here's another one :
He's not my cat; he's a sweet, smart, loving two year old male Turkish Angora who is up for adoption in Ohio (currently being held captive by an insane freeper woman):

If anyone is interested in adopting him, please PM me.

38. The couple who has him up for adoption
are breeders of Turkish Angoras-plus they run a can rescue out of their home. The smell-OMG the SMELL! 35 cats in one tiny trailer park like dump! Turkish Angoras are very rare in this country (they're the "border collies of the cats world" super intelligent. They're also National treasures in Turkey because Mohammed had five as pets) This particular Turk is almost Maine Coon size-a no-no in the show cat world. He has a fantastic personality-I just home someone can adopt him soon and get him out of there! (the couple had a portrait of * and Laura on their front door)! :puke:

63. Framed on the inside of the front door
and * stickers all over their van-freaked me out! I went there because my dad,who lives in Ohio, wanted a Turk from a reputable breeder. He would have been sickened by that place (he's very fastidious and would not have taken a cat from there, even if the cat were in good health. He's a little OC about stuff like that). Poor kitties! I took some photos in hope of finding them better homes. :-(

45. I can't remember how to PM anyone, send me the kitty!!
It has been a while since I have done anything fancy on DU, but I think that kitty could get along in my household of 3 indoor, and 2 AWOL outside kitties. He looks like a Lounger Kitty. I am working a lot but could arrange for airport stuff with you. So call me at (860) 848-2277 or cell (860) 710-2339...Am anticipating getting back on what I call a normal schedule within the next couple of weeks...What a pretty kitten!!

My cats pretty much have the run of the house, they claw what they will, get wet food once a day, dry food all the time, CATS RULE!!

Call anytime day or night, my work schedule is pretty strange so if I hear the phone ring, I may or may not answer it...

XXXOOO

62. Here's the website of the owner:
http://www.angelfire.com/oh/turkishangora/antioch/home.html

The cat's name is Rosebud-"Bud" for short (it's a boy-remember, these are repugs, they don't even know how to name cats, lol)! Don't let Kit, the owner, try to talk you into her other white kitty Mowl Gibson; he's pretty shy and antisocial (unless you think you can reform him) Rosebud is the one with the great personality.

They ship worldwide, so shipping won't be a problem. I usually go with Delta when I transport my kitties.

Hope you get him; he's an incredible-and very rare-kitty!

so if a cat has one blue eye and one green eye is it only partially deaf, or not at all?

111. Not all blue eyed white cats are deaf
that color combo comes natually to this breed, so there are a high percentage of them who are not deaf and have either blue or "odd" eyes (as in the case of this kitty). It's an ancient natural breed, so they don't have many health issues.

37. A lot of the blue eyed ones are deaf, not all.
Any other eye color, including the "odd-eyed" ones, like the one pictured above, usually fare better. My green-eyed white cat hears all too well.

From my illustrious brother, Jonny blitz! He says your kitties are sooo fat! I have one kitty that needs to go on a diet, 2 others that don't need to be on one...I just don't have the time or the talent to figure out this one...anyway, I want to know if your kitty outweighed our Maine kitty Seymour (23lbs) double clawed, etc..He used to drool on my library books, had to dry them off...too funny

Can't wait to meet you once I get a "Life" that is...projected time would be like 6 mos. from now, anyway...

Both female - and actually pretty petite next to Moby, the white cat who weighs in at 15. Jupiter tips the scales at 55, and Neptune is 80 pounds and still filling out. Guinness, the Siamese looking one, is a sleek and sexy 10 pounds.

Yeesh.

Ali and Chloe are my parents, and after I move out in a couple of months I'm going to miss them a lot. And Chloe just loves Monty. It's going to be a hard time separating them up. I'll have to bring him over for visits.

The offspring of a plain brown tabby that belonged to my friend. She was in heat (the cat, not my friend) hahahaha, and had an appt. to be fixed the following week, but she got out, and was caught with a neighborhood tom. She birthed two calicoes, two blue-eyed Siamese looking kittens, and two black and white "cow patterned" kittens. It was the ODDEST thing. All were placed in nice homes.

47. Very pretty
My mom always wants Siamese. Ali and Chloe are sisters (dumped on a friend's land, and my parents took them in) and my mom was extra happy because she was convinced they were part Siamese....until I broke the bad news, they're Birman.

How odd - they are twins. My cat is the evil twin, I'm afraid. He's a bit of an ornery shit, though I love him SO.

and one without.

I get a kick out of the white sox, especially when it's dark and all I see are these little white feet (seemingly) walking around on their own!!

Not so expensive - his previous owners realized he wasn't beautiful furniture. (came with his own condo, food and brush) at 5 months old.

Not actually mine, but pretty close. My kitty's face is sweeter looking. This cat looks pissed off. But his coloring and size is identical to my cat.

72. only if you insist on grooming them in undignified ways
which I refuse to do. I've only taken him to the groomers a couple of times--their hair gets badly matted. They had put a little blue ribbon on his forehead. I insisted they take it off, that it was undignified. Treat them like normal cats and they behave normally.

My cat has an EXTREMELY sweet disposition. He got seriously pissed off the day after Bush got elected. I went out to find him on the patio the next morning and he hissed at me. That was because I'd coordinated get out the vote efforts for Kerry out of my house and it freaked him out to have so much commotion. He's a wonderful kitty with a very sweet disposition.

This is Tommy. He has blue eyes and is not deaf, but does ignore me at times.

Next is Nilly. Also, all white, but has one green eye and one blue eye. You can't see that from this pic though. She's in a no paparazzi mood.

98. Thanks!
The three younger ones are siblings and they get along wonderfully. (The second one in the last post is the water lover. He always trying to get in the tub. He's a momma's boy and wants to go wherever I go. If I'm in the bath, he wants to hop in, too.)

The oldest is more into people than cats. He'd be fine if the others just dissapeared. In fact he probably wishes they would. He's an old man -- set in his ways.

she was a sweet cat but if she didn't like anything she would hiss and scratch. But she was my cat and I could do a lot more with her till she said "enough" than others. She got more quiet when she got older.

loving he seems so sweet, but when he's had enough--watch out!

That's the thing with cats. They make you love them on their own terms.
