I had to work, or I'd have been there too ...

2. If I wanted to err on the side of caution, I'd say 5,000.

It was terrific. I'm a hard-core lefty, but my wife is a mild don't-rock-the-boat conservative. We were getting some gelato when we heard the drumming outside in the street. We went out to watch it. I think even she found it kind of cool. :-)

She's not some dollar&B*sh worshipping neo-con, so I think she kinda liked seeing what we lefties are all about.

4. The politics kind of confuses me. There are the Liberals, the NDP

and the Green Party (at least those are the parties I heard of most while I was up there.) Who are the conservatives? :shrug: How much trouble ARE the Liberals in right now? :shrug: Is the NDP liberal, conservative or moderate? :shrug: Help me out, Canadians, please.

And they aren't in any trouble. It's the Federal liberals that are in shit. The NDP is VERY left
