1. go to "options"

click user profiles and under search enter the first three letters of the name

3. If you want to search for posts by a particular member:

Go here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=search&select_forum=

Type the member's name into the "Keywords" box. Then, where it asks, "Search which field(s)?" choose "Author."

5. Just click on the profile icon next to any name...

and the search profiles will show on that page.

edit to add...easier than going to options since clicking on any profile will bring up the search.
