I've loved Cloris Leachman in every role I've ever seen her in.

I wish the whole movie was about her instead of her caricature of a daughter or the supermodel maid.

1. I don't know who's a cooler old lady: Her, or Betty White

3. She would have been great too. The Turning Point was on
tv recently and I watched a bit just to see how fantastic she was.

4. I love Cloris Leachman, so I was kinda bummed to recently learn that
(allegedly, though this is from someone who's worked with her and, via them, testimony from others) she's apparently a total starts-with-'B'-and-rhymes-with-'bitch' to work with. Maybe she's nice off the set -- I don't know -- but she's supposedly a nightmare coworker and has been for some time. :-(

Again, this is all hearsay, so maybe she's nice or maybe she just had bad days every time my informant was near her.

Doesn't diminish the brilliance of, for example, her Frau Blücher or Nurse Diesel, though...

Oh, yeah, another b-word among b-words to work with is supposedly whatsherface, the women who played Rhoda...Valerie Harper, right? She allegedly -- again, I got this from someone who's been on sets with her -- makes Diana Ross look reasonable. :o
