I signed up before Gulf War II, looking for some progressive American political discussion trying to understand just what the heck is going on down your way.

I haven't had a lot to contribute, but I've really enjoyed your company.

Now I'll just crack open another beer and go back and enjoy listening to the conversation.

27. Yeah well, but I learned long ago

that never party with a crowd that's way younger than you.

About 20 years ago, I was in my mid thirties, I decided to go back to school. Entered University, did well, had a great time, but Damn, those parties. The kids would never give up.

Being a bit older than the rest of the crowd, I had a house and also a cottage on a lake up north of Toronto. Couple of times, the wife and I would invite a bunch of the kids up for May two four weekend (Canadians would know what that is) but by Monday, I'd be wishing that they could just be quiet.

It was a lot of fun, but you really can't go back.
