8. Bloodletting is a ridiculous and barbaric practice
It makes much more sense to blame gypsies and/or Catholics for all of your personal moods (I know that I sure do!), poke yourself with tiny little needles in strange places, or let shiny little rocks cure your diseases.

Bloodletting is just superstitious nonsense. :)
