Three hours late getting home tonight.

Some traffic accident just up the road ahead of me that called for three ambulances and three helicopters. Traffic held up on both sides for nearly three hours.

A couple of times, I fumed at having to wait so damn long, especially after the emergency vehicles had left. Then I realized that there were at least a few people who'd've gladly traded places with me.

Haven't heard anything on the news yet. I hope everyone's all right.

2. There are worse places to get stuck...

...than Vancouver Island on a beautiful sunny spring afternoon.

My work requires that I drive about a thousand kilometres per week. So, yeah, lots of blessings getting counted.
