Poll question: Do Americans "do" too much?
Edited on Mon Apr-18-05 09:53 AM by derby378
Here's my thought. Listen to how a lot of us talk nowadays:

We don't perform aerobics; we do aerobics.
We don't pay our taxes on April 15; we do them.
Our kids don't take drugs; they do drugs.
We don't create spreadsheets at work; we do them.
And so on, and so on...

So, whaddaya think? Are we "doing" too much?

3. On the Other Hand,
"The Tao of Heaven does nothing, and yet nothing is left undone." The Tao te Ching

I think it would be beneficial for America to "do" a dose of this philosophy.
