Democratic Underground doesn't reply to emails that quickly. I kinda think it's a little much to expect the office of a United States Senator to reply to the weekend email before 10:30 AM on Monday.

I thinkn it might work - these guys are getting caught on so many critical issues involving ethics and legality that we might be able to compare them to the year's when the mob was in control.

He spoke at a town hall meeting in Austin, TX on Saturday. I'm guessing you'll get a response soon.

5. I want Kerry to run again.

I know he may not be Mr. Smiley Face but I think he is a really decent guy. And we need that right now. Or John Edwards - I really liked him, too.

And both of them have terrific wives and families.

And the only way we are going to beat the Thugs here in the midwest is to show that they are thugs and crooks - which they are making easier and easier to do every day.

4. I don't know what subject you wrote to him concerning but

I wouldn't expect much more than a form letter response. He gets so much mail, both email and snail mail, that there wouldn't be time to do anything else for him or is staff to reply to each one individually. That doesn't mean that he will ignore your message content at all, just that it is time prohibitive for him to repond to each one that he recieves.

I never let that stop me from writing, however. So, don't get discouraged ... just be patient.

you may want to hedge your bets and e-mail it to Dean as well.

As an outsider to the Senate and given his notoriously fiesty temperment, it sounds like it could be right up his ally.
