2. Easily the best. The series keeps getting better and better!
I did like "The End of the World", despite its biggest problems (fast pacing, not as much character depth as I'd have liked, a cheat of an ending...)

"Rose" is the ultimate clunker though... though I'm glad 7.3 million stayed to keep watching the show. Which is phenomenal considering the number of television channels and cable in England! ("Rose" got 10 mil in ratings, which alone convinced the BBC to commission a second season.)

The 9th Doctor is definitely a great incarnation, almost my absolute favorite by now.
