Well, he plays one on Stargate:SG-1. He plays Daniel Jackson. Speaking of other science fiction geeks, I was in love with Andric on Doctor Who and cried about it for a couple weeks after I saw the episode where he died (I was in junior high.).
Oh, yeah, my husband is a mega geek too. He doesn't really look like one, but if you talk to him, you find out how geeky he is.

Ever man I've ever been attracted to has certain geek-like tendencies. My husband loves math and sci-fi. Before that, I even went out with my share of a few comic book geeks, but my common theme is men who others might refer to as geeks and I'm probably a geek too (except that I'm not good at math), but I've never looked the part really. I was always more a geek trapped in a cheerleader's body.
I think it's a daddy thing. My dad is a brillant guy and I was always really close with him when I was little. Because of that, I kind of expect a certain level of braininess on my list of "must haves". The other stuff is important, but secondary.
