Well, since the move of AAR to XM appears to be a done deal now
and it will no longer be on Sirius, if anyone is interested, I did find a source on e-bay with 100% positive feedback that has one of the best XM receivers for $49 each, plus shipping. This one has a FM modulator and car kit built in, so there's nothing else you really need to buy.

So, I'll be contacting the guy if something doesn't happen with Sirius. I hate to move to XM, but I will if I have to.

1. where did you read ....
that it will no longer be on Sirius? Link please. Isn't it possible for AAR to be on both XM and Sirius?

2. I called AAR corporate offices and asked.
Feel free to do so yourself if you like 1-646-274-4900. They said that Sirius will only have AAR for another 90 days.

9. Same here. The reason I went with Sirius to begin with was because
they had the whole line-up (that and I couldn't get very good XM reception at my apartment due to the direction my windows face).

Grrrrr.

3. I don't care.
I'm sticking with Sirius. I want to see how they respond to this - and they will.

Also, I do not like to be pushed around by corporate media. Of course, XM wants to see me run over to them. But that's not going to happen.

Sirius will secure great talent. I have faith.

And, I'm going to say, "I told you so" when you guys regret running over to XM.

Nothing is confirmed yet
and so far everything I've read has been contradictory. I'd say we're all reacting to strategic corporate rumors so far. I'm going to wait until I hear an official word from all three players before making a decision. If XM continues to chop-up Malloy and Randi even with their "exclusive" deal I will not be switching. I can listen to AAR on AM, but I don't because these two shows aren't broadcast live. In the age of instant information, tape delayed shows are a killer.

10. I believe you, but I still need to see an official press release
Who did you talk to at AAR? Probably a receptionist?

Honestly I don't see how AAR can just up and leave Sirius. Do they not have a contract?

4. I have XM but I hate to see them leave Sirius.
Unfortunately, this is the result of a fierce competition that is underway to grab up exclusive content by both XM and Sirius. Sirius just grabbed Nascar from XM and XM locked up MLB and now AAR. As an XM Radio subscriber I am happy with the moves but I am not sure how it benefits AAR in the long run to abandon Sirius.

6. What do you mean it won't be on Sirrus anymore?
