Man accused of lewd conduct with goat arrested

<A Yuma man may be charged with animal cruelty after being arrested late Sunday night on suspicion of having sex with a goat.

According to court records, on Sunday night around 11 p.m., Arrendondo was allegedly caught by two witnesses engaging in sexual intercourse with an 8-year-old brown Nubian goat in a stall behind the owners residence west of Yuma.

The witnesses, according to court records, say they confronted Arrendondo about his actions and kept him in the stall until deputies arrived and arrested him on suspicion of animal cruelty, a felony.

When asked by deputies why he was in the stall with the goat, Arrendondo said he was "drinking milk" and not having sex with it, court records indicated.

One of the witnesses, who is also the goat's owner, claimed she knew someone had been having sex with her goat over the last month but was unable to determine who was doing it, according to information contained in the court record.>
