1. I'm not Canadian, but I think the current government is suffering
from fatigue. The Liberal Party of Canada has been in power for 12 years now.

2. There was a scandal under the old government
I have no idea how people think this ties into the new government. Paul Martin is the "new broom" who's sweeping things clean.
