Challenge: Name 1 good thing bushy boy has done for our country.
I am clearing out old files so since I won't get any answers to this thread I will soon be free to go back to work. (How long does one need to keep old files?)

5. Thanks for your reply anyway. I hope that you are having a lovely
evening. The stars here (west Texas) are so beautiful that I almost am happy to be a Texan again. Plus it is cool and the air is heavenly. (I really hate going through all those dusty files. Maybe I should start a thread that asked for all the bad evil things he's done and then I would be up all night reading them and never get back to my work.)

He's showed us that despite the rubric of the day there WAS a difference between candidates after all.

Unless you think this would be the state of things with president Gore. Then I just can't help you.

8. Good God no. I always knew there was a difference. Al Gore is a
human and to me he is the perfect, real family man. He and Tipper are a couple that seem so real and such a true example of a partnership. The repukes with all their family values bs have nothing to compare. Then there is the environment and relationships with other nations, and no war and true comapssion. Please stop me. To list the differences will take all night.

11. Believe me when I say that knowing where Crawford Texas is is not a
good thing, especially for the poor people who actually have lived there all of their lives. Good try. Since in Texas he was known as the laziest governor in existence seeing him doing any work is a revelation. BTW, one does not clear cedar the way he did in his much ballyhooed photo opt. There is much too much of it to go at it in that antiquated manner.

I'm really, really hoping that someday, in my lifetime, the future looks better than it does right now. Maybe, just maybe, that world will be better because of humankind's reaction to the nightmare regime that has taken over our country. That would in a sense be a "good" thing Bush has done...

I really should have added the word "intentionally". That awakening is really a strong thing, isn't it? Going along thinking "my country, wrong or right" is not what made all the positive changes that have been accomplished in the U.S. occur. I congratulate you and hope there are a million more like you out there.
