for me the weekends are mostly time off DU. I enjoy the people who are around this time. At the weekends I sleep longer and when I show up at DU nobody I know is there and most time the threads aren't what I am used to. So I take my break from DU on weekends.

but my bf is away for some time so I can't bug him at the moment :)

I am not the type who goes to clubs that often. I rather hang out with friends at a café or meet at home chatting and eating a nice dinner and have some wine.

it took me some years till I started to got to clubs and to flirt. But when I was in the mood, I mostly got the guys I wanted :evilgrin:
and I found out that I can only dance (if you wanna call it dancing what I do - my bf chokes laughing at it :)) to HipHop and R&B.

Best advice I can give ya is to stay here to avoid being eaten alive. In the other forums it's a dog eat dog sort of thing a lot of times depending on if you stuck your foot in your mouth, which I do when I try to be serious. I have learned that if I stay in the Lounge, I get bitten much less and many of my pre Lounge wounds have begun to heal and the infection is gone mostly. Once in a while someone will get pissed in another forum and follow a person here, but they quickly leave if you keep joking. That's the key. Just keep joking as much as possible. Make all the funnies you can think of. It's the equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and singing, "lalalalala, I can't hear you".

BTW, a heart welcome to the Lounge. I hope you enjoy your stay and don't forget to party on, or if you aren't the party type, just do whatever suits you. In any case, welcome. :D
