10. i love the guy, and my oldest daughter

turned on to him when she was about 12-13 years old. Absolutely obsessed with Wierd Al, but then to her credit she developed a wonderfully wide appreciation of various musical styles. She went through my cd collection, borrowed copied or took over my lps, memorized Dylan Joni Mitchell Van Morrison songs lyrics and still finds more and more of avenues to explore everyday. Her favorite place is the used cd stores in town. Picked up a guitar and taught herself with my little bit of help and encouragement enough to satisfy herself for hours.

and while i wish it were genetic, wierd al gets the credit.
