Silliness abounds.
Edited on Sat Apr-09-05 04:15 AM by Jamastiene
Okay, there is nothing left to eat in the house, but popcorn. Guess what I am eating at 5:00 a.m. EST??? Well, I just said popcorn was all that was left. I hardly ever eat popcorn. It's not that I don't like it. It's that the little husks get stuck between my teeth so bad, that I can't always catch it. My dentist would just love to scrape my gums for a *ahem* fee, I am sure. I don't know what convinced me to go ahead a pop popcorn at 5 in the morning, but I am hungry and apparently have gone completely crazy.

It did make me wonder though.
Has anyone else ever done something mildly silly in the wee hours right by themselves and found it extremely fun?

Also,
I'm in an extremely good mood and the television has long since been boring or downright too propoganda-ish to me. Does anyone know somewhere where people are flaming the hell out of each other over something silly right now? I could eat my popcorn and scroll and laugh for a while, while I try to figure out how I will live when my computer finally dies on me. I'd like to just sit back and be entertained this morning while my computer hops around on its last leg. It's such a dinosaur.

1. You could always register at that FREEPER site, and raise hell for 2 min!
That's just GOTTA be a few entertaining moments right there!

2. LOL
The salt from the popcorn alone will raise my blood pressure. Dealing with freepers isn't much fun. I'd rather stay here and be entertained on DU. My mood has changed already. I want comedy now. Haha. Know any good jokes?

4. LOL
A freeper would never be the one having the intelligent conversation. That's for sure.

Here have some

5. Not even toast in the house?
Toast is one of my late-night temptations. No late-night popcorn for me--I can't sleep without freakishly clean teeth.

I, too, indulge in late-night reading of flame-fests. However, I am unable to provide a link (tain't appreciated here) to the freaking hilarious dramarama I've most recently enjoyed.

Can't offer much about an old puter: I'm a mac person. If it gets old or busted, well, there's always a clean reinstall. (Okay, okay, I talk a good game, but it wasn't all that long ago that I was using an Apple IIc. Not ideal.)

6. The fan that cools the ancient
Pentium (P5 build, older than dirt) in my machine is making more noise than an old box fan that needs oil, badly, is but one major hardware malfunction that my machine is experiencing. It's tired. If it was ai, it would beg for retirement.

I can't sleep without my teeth being brushed thoroughly first either. I hate to wake up with yesterday's food still caked on there. You can bet I'll be brushing shortly, before I hit the hay.

We ran out of bread about 2 days ago. I'm avoiding the grocery store, because I hate those places, the prices have gone up, and it means I'll have to cook the stuff I bring home. I'm in no mood to cook. I'm in a party mood.

How about some comedy or useless facts you can only learn by being up this time of the morning? Know anything odd, like say, the lifespan of a seahorse, how high is high, how can there be a lunar eclipse when the sun is further away from us than the moon (I have always wanted to know how that can be)?

7. Lunar eclipse? That i can do.
I'm so excited to be able to answer a question!

A lunar eclipse happens when the moon is full and the Earth comes between the sun and the moon.

You're on Earth and looking at the moon. The light of the sun is behind you, blocked by the planet you're on.

Geez, think I should learn to link from a decent graphics site??

8. Thank you.
I've been wondering about that one. Now I understand. Before, no one could answer when I asked about that. I'm glad you answered. Would you like some  too? I'm in a sort of laid back party mood. Looking at pictures and checking in here every now and again.
