Another overtly political Law and Order.
Two investigators show up at the scene. Dead woman on a boardwalk turns out to be the governor of Connecticut's wife. Turns out the death occurred during a Democratic fundraiser.

The investigator who replaced Lenny says, "For the party of the people, they sure blew out of here in a hurry."

I only watched it for Jerry Orbach.

BTW, he died of colon cancer. Do you know that 1, that's one, colonoscopy can reduce the chance of colon cancer by over 60%. If you have this in your family history or you are 45, talk to you doctor and don't take no for an answer.

On edit: My letter to NBC

Congratulations, I'm finished with Law & Order forever

Dear Law and Order:

I've been a loyal viewer for years. Tonight you got me to turn your show off for good. When the Detective said of the dead Democrat: "For the party of the people, they sure blew out of here in a hurry" I knew it was time. No more Law and Order. I must tell you that the addition of Fred Thompson, one of the nastiest partisans in American politics, was bad enough. This snide remark just proved the point. You guys are doing the NBC/GE shuffle.

Adios,

3. The DA On the Main Show Seems to Be Pretty Right-Wing Too
But the black guy and the blonde DA do try to balance them out. It's not perfect, but I like Law & Order and its various franchises. Plus, we've got cool shows like Boston Legal that cater directly to us, so I don't complain much about it.
