Solar path lights. 5 BUCKS!
Box of 6 for $29.95 (plus tax, if any) at Lowe's.
And they stay lit ALL NIGHT LONG!
Amber LEDs.
Way cool!

1. I bought some several years ago
and I was a bit disapointed because they gave off such little light. They were placed in 'full sun' spot...??

Is there a specific feature that I should look for?

3. You might not be able to read a newspaper by them.
But they're certainly bright enough to see a walkway, deck, sidewalk.
I've used them since they first came out at around $20 a piece.
These are MUCH better.

5. That was my experience also.
Can be better than nothing, though.

I've seen some that have leds that are more bluish white that seem quite a bit Brighter. I've no idea of the comparative costs, though.

4. Fair enough, but how can you not?
I think every T shirt I own was made in China.
I avoid Walmart with a passion.
But how do you NOT buy China goods when that's all there is?
Sorry if I offended.

6. I'm not offended-
I really do try to not buy Chinese stuff
but it can be pretty difficult these days.
hell- even band aids now say made in China- sterilized in the USA!
One way is to buy recycled/second hand items.
All the new electronic stuff seems to be from China.
Another possibility is to buy less stuff & stop supporting the bush economy.
or buy fair trade items-

7. I was around during the original hippie days-
we made all of our our alternative stuff, decorated our clothes etc, now everyone buys everything readymade.
there's such a consumer culture & we don't really need so much stuff.

But I am sorry, I didn't mean to rain on your solar lights!
:)
