If we had to write a handbook for trolls, what would it look like?

I expect it would have tips for trying to "blend in", since most of them aren't that good at it.

First:

-The phrase "America-hating DUers" is usually a dead giveaway. Don't think that someone is going to rush to your defense when the veterans turn the flamethrowers on you.

-Deliberately repeating GOP talking points just ain't gonna cut it. You see, unlike your friends at FR, or Lucianne, or CU, or whatever, we actually do research and discover facts--so we will KNOW if you are spouting GOP talking points.

-No matter who suggested it, Bill Clinton can not be anyone's VP running mate. Not Al Gore's, not Hillary Clinton's, not John Kerry's.

-Ending any phrase with "that's all I'm saying" is really dumb. You might as well say "I'm a freeper jackass."

-Al Gore and Bill Clinton are not and were not "liberals" like we are, so don't refer to them as such.

-Never try to be funny, or try to string any of us along. Not only does it never work, it's also never funny.

I served 24 years and had one tour in a combat zone. I'm a wacky liberal and ask that any of you flag waving, religious zealots get your fucking constitution hating asses down to the army recruiting office and sign up today. When you get back to Free Republic, make sure to gloat childishly how you had us all fooled.

I'm no fan of George Bush, but...." is usually a sign that freeperish is about to follow. And, as mentioned, the always popular Faux News yellow journalism "some people say". No mention of who these people are, of course.
