It's great! In particular: "Barstool Boogie". Dan has not lost a step and the Hickette's are still hot. :thumbsup:

The last record I bought of Dan's was "Striking it Rich" from 1971.

Anyone else for Dan?

I've heard "Barstool Boogie" repeatedly on my local indy radio station and get a total kick out of it, even though I'm in no way a parrothead. Have been mulling over whether to get that CD or "Confessions from an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins (which will unquestionably piss him off) for my big bro's birthday present. Oh what the heck. I'll probably get both.

on edit- there was also a CD of Dan Hick's covers by other artists released recently. Have to find out about that one. Aaand "Waitress in a Doughnut Shop" was one of my fave anthems for many, many moons. Was really too silly especially for anyone who ever worked in food service.
