Poll question: Which time zone is the best time zone??

I'm gonna say my own time zone, the Central. You know why?? Because we're different from ALL the other time zones. 1) We're the ONLY time zone in the country who's prime time network lineup starts at 7pm local time (instead of 8pm), and 2) We're the only time zone which has ABC, NBC and CBS affiliates have their local news at 10pm.

So which is the best??

Daylight savings time is used in Romania too. Same time zone as Bucuresti, even though we're in the northwest (Transilvania) and they're in the southeast

11. I lived in the Eastern time zone all my life except some time in Europe...

but moved to Central last year. It's great. Evening sports games don't keep you up as late, although I do wish that they wouldn't be so West coast oriented. Us eastern folks need sleep.

It sucks if you're a fan of a Western Conference NBA team who mostly plays teams on the west coast. Almost half the games every year I have to stay up until 9:30 pm local time to catch the tipoff.

I don't see why a game between an EST team and a Central team should be scheduled for the convenience of people in the West. It's ok for me because it starts at 8:12 our time, but I'd rather see it start an hour or two earlier for more post-game rioting ;-)
