minneapolis citizens, please be my friend
Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 12:22 PM by chickenscratching
hello, i posted this query in the MN forum, but it seems quite dead in there.
anyways, I'm having problems. I've become aware that most of my friends, minus my boyfriend, I cannot have a conversation with. I don't want to be snobby here, but this is how I feel. I also blame it on the fact that I work in a small office, and am not currently attending college so my interaction with many people or new people is very small.
So my question for you is, would you be my friend?
My boyfriend and I feel so fucking isolated.

Would anyone in Minneapolis be willing to ever meet for coffee during lunch break (if you work)?
I love DU for all the input I hear, but as you all know, it doesn't beat talking in person (at least for me anyway).

2. well, it *is* the middle of the day
I'm sure most Minnesota folks are at work. But yeah, we have irregular get-togethers, and the conversation is the best part.

If you can't wait until the next MNDu meetup, gimme a PM.

i was hoping someone could meet me during a lunch break or something on a lark today. I'm just itching for conversation.
Where do fellow MN'ers talk about the meetups? The MN forum?

There are lots of folks who post regularly in the MN forum. And we have some very politically aware and active folks who come to the meetups. (Last one was in St. Paul. Time before that, Uptown.) I learn a lot more 'bout MN politics than I contribute. And it's always nice to get a rousing roar when chanting "Norm's a WEASEL!"

6. I've been known to occasionally find an acorn.
I'll get going on starting a meetup. Keep your eye on the forum.
