Bombs Found In Salem Potato Chip Plant

Employee Took One Home

SALEM, Ore. -- Employees found a bomb on the conveyor belt at the Kettle Chip plant in Salem early Thursday morning.

Salem police's bomb squad showed up to investigate, and determined it was a three-pound "practice bomb."

But their work didn't end there. While they were there, they found a second bomb.

In addition, a plant employee said he found one a few days before -- and took it home.
