So I took some aptitude tests for an insurance position today..
I spoke with the senior HR person and he told me I was a likely candidate for a BETTER position than the one I tested for today. Send me some good vibes, if you please, as I've been looking since September with little or no luck.

1. Good luck
Be warned, however, that the insurance business can be pretty boring.

(The first office job I ever had was a clerk writing up change orders for business policies, and now I'm a computer programmer for the auto insurance industry, so I know whereof I speak.)

2. I've taken that test
probably six or seven times....learned how to pass it after the third time....

they're looking for:

money is the most important thing in life.

don't care if nobody likes you

You want to stand out in a crowd.

I'm in insurance now as an independent....never, ever, ever want to be a captive agent again....ever....

3. I am licensed...
but I've had a few credit problems over the past five years, nothing major, but I've been afraid to check on becoming an agency because of them.
This is a headquarters position, I think in case management. I was pleasantly surprised because I intitially thought I was interviewing for an operations/mailroom position.
