To all of you who have been complaining about the rain today, I am not...
Except having to drive home from work in this mess...I glad it's raining.

Why?

Because it's the end of March and I'm from New England...

You figure it out...:bounce:

1. Three options:
1) You're glad because it's not snowing -
2) You're glad because you STILL HAVE those last stubborn inches of snowcover around and it's raining it away -
3) You like to take a bicycle out on the roads, because with today's rain, as long as it doesn't snow or give out any other sort of frozen precipiation again, the horrid sandy grit over-spread over the long winter to combat the ice will wash away and it will be time for the first Spring ride soon enough.

2. I waiting to get out of the house and take a good long drive
through the country, plus I like painting outdoors, which is hard to do when there's a ton of snow on the ground...

Other than that, you just about got it right...

3. Whoa - so I was wrong -
You're still up to the ton of snow thing. Lost the cover here in the north Bronx a week or so ago - up in Westchester County, they still have cover, but only in spots and a few inches. Good luck to you. We will all have "closure" on this winter at some point.

5. I hear ya Will, since I know you aren't too far away from me
geographical speaking...

Of course it also means the basements getting flooded, but that another downside we occasionally have to deal with...

8. Heh. I live in Seattle.
When people complain about rain around here we just look at them like they're from another planet. :hi:
