Well, not really.
I drove up to the cabin as my folks are there, when I arrived they weren't there. So, I watched the tube for a bit waiting for them. About a half hour into it, I noticed the VCR was on - they were recording golf. I panicked, I had to leave the premi before they got back to discover LPGA was interrupted by 20 minutes of Annie Hall. They'd surely be aprowl for blood. So I decided to go on the lam. But my escape was poorly planned, I tried gunning it out of the driveway, got half way and stopped - it was too slippery. So I backed up, began to lose control and started to spin. I swore and cursed as much as I could, BUT THE CAR KEPT SPINNING! I ended up literally across the driveway, snowbanks on the bow and stern of the vehicle. By the grace of god I managed to free the car and after a half hour, and about 15 attempts, I finally made it up. I had to break the ice up with a shovel first.
However, now here I sit fearing the dreaded, "Were you up here?" Phone call from irate parents with no appreciation for classic films.
So the question is, anyone know of anything better than salt for de-icing a driveway? I mean it's FREAKIN April almost, I shouldn't have to put up with this.
