Extreme--"More than Words"
I was discussing this song with my niece today, because I couldn't remember the name of the song. I kept telling her it was a "ballad" and the song was about a guy trying to get his girlfriend into bed with him. It was also a hit from a group that basically was hard rock.

She kept saying it wasn't about the guy trying to get his girlfriend to have sex, but then again, when it originally came out, she was only 13 and possibly didn't get the "nuances" of the song.

Am I right? Does anyone agree that was what it was about?

3. I think a lot of people thought Van Cherone sucked.
Probably why it only lasted 1 album.

2. Extreme-A band who got known for their worst song.
That's my opinion. It isn't a bad song, but a little generic. Stairway to Heaven it ain't.

But I don't know if the song was about a guy trying to get a girl to go to bed with him or about a band trying to get a hit single.

4. no it wasn't about him trying to get his girlfriend in the sack
it was about him trying to tell her how he loved her and btw the songwriter has come to hate his own creation because it was overplayed so much.
