| Craving a "Sunday breakfast" |
|
Mind you, most Sundays I don't even eat a "Sunday breakfast" but today, I want one.
An omelet, stuffed with veggies and cheese, with side orders of both bacon and sausage
and a lemon danish
and coffee
and pineapple juice
(of course, I'd need a whole week to eat all that food, but... man, I'm craving it)

| 1. I went with my husband to an Irish type pub here |
|
a few weeks ago and had an "Irish" breakfast, a big slice of really good ham, bangers ( the best sausages I have ever had), bacon (I rarely eat bacon), really good bread and mash,(mashed potatoes with cream and other things I did not recognize) God it was good! I suspect it was more English than Irish, but wow.
I would highly recommend a good full breakfast for you, Miss M. Or at least one of those great brunches they have at hotels.

I'm craving a Saturday brunch like my husband and I used to get at The Moose Country in St. Paul, MN: spicy sausage, eggs and peppers, hash browns, toast, coffee and juice. Afterward, a Bloody Mary for him and a screwdriver for me.

| 6. it's that need for holiday goodies, maybe |
|
we always had a fancier breakfast on Easter when I was a kid... more fruit, pecan ring, that sort of thing.

| 7. Mmmm, or a big English breakfast |
|
...with sausage, black pudding, fried tomato, mushrooms, the works. The only part of it I never could understand is the cold canned beans. Never pass it up though.
Something clicked when I saw this and I realized I'd hardly eaten, preoccupied.
Maybe a German Frühstück, brötchen and salami, chesse, lachs and horseradish...but I'll settle for a quick omelet. Why am I still typing.
