Sorry to see Rachel Maddow go (on Unfiltered Air America)

I must say the replacement of Rachel by Jerry Springer disappointed me somewhat. I thought she was doing an excellent job. I also felt she did need some reinforcement on the show, but she is so well informed and so passionate about the issues, I really have looked forward to hearing her every day.

It probably didn't do any good, but ... I gave it my best. I e-mailed too.

Why can't I at least listen to her on weekends? Or on Sirius Left?

Springer has name recognition and can bring the listenership up (in theory). She is bright and well infromed but that doesn't always translate into more listeners, i.e. $$$$

I am unspeakably disapppointed that I will not have UNFILTERED to listen to after Apirl 1. I will be going elsewhere for my listening for the 9-12AM EST hours. I have no intererst in listening to Jerry Springer. Replacing the intelligent, passionate Rachel Maddow with that trailer-park, sensationalizing TV host is an insult to my intelligence and integrity. I cannot believe that AAR made a decision like this as part of its first annivesary celebration. This does not forebode well for its second year. If this is any indication of what the next year holds, I better start looking around for alternative progressive listening sources right now.
