appealed to my love of a guy with a sense of humor. Jamie appeeals to my love of a guy with a nice body who is intense and smart. All hope is not lost on this side.

9. There's No Such Myth
Nobody'd be stupid enough to believe it. A myth only works if it's remotely possible that someone would believe it. Who the heck would believe that myth? All they'd have to do is ask one of the 75 million of us.

11. Wait, wait, wait, which one is Adam and which one is Jamie?
This is the one I like: the one who seems more serious, who wears a beret or some kind of hat and has little almost invisible glasses. Which one is he? I drool over that one.

The other, sillier one who got his tongue pierced in one episode is ok, but I really like the serious one.

He has a big......brain!

I even like his name better. rrrrroooowwwwrrrdroooollll.

WAIT! That picture reminded me of something! Jamie needs to trim that facial hair up. Other than that, he's HOT.

On edit: all three of us LOVE Mythbusters. If we get started watching it, there's no stopping us. We HAVE to see how it comes out and half the time we laugh our asses off. My husband AND daughter are the type to pull things apart to see how they work, so it's right up their alley. Mr. Bouncy thinks Adam and Jamie have his dream job.

23. Can I get an AMEN????
One of my favorite things about MB is that they have so many wimmin doing a lot of the hands-on 'dirty work'.

Better yet, they're the type of wimmin I'm attracted to: smart, able, not afraid of challenges, and have great senses of humor. The fact that they're easy on the eyeballs is an added bonus!

Maybe that's why I married a farmer's daughter-- she's tough, smart, able to do anything she sets her mind to, and cleans up pretty darn well, too!

I like 'em both. Adam would be fun to hang with, but Jamie would be fun to go drinking with. I'd have to say I lean toward Jamie. I believe he was once in special forces. And yep, they're both happily married. Adam wants to install a coin slot for his kids to be able to get toys out of the closet. :) Since I'm somewhat experienced with high powered amateur rocketry, I love big booms.

Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 01:31 PM by Hell Hath No Fury
off of Army Street here in SF. I stumbled on their location by accident when I went to the deli and I saw the M5 sign above the doorway -- this was just a month or so after the show started -- the sign has long since disappeared. I drive by there a couple of times a day and have seen them shooting in the lot next to their building. One day I may drop by to watch and drool over Jamie -- as someone who wears nothing but red Converse Chuck Taylors -- he's a man after my own heart. :)

Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 02:06 PM by AchtungToddler
So if you're into that brand o' geek, get yourself to hanging out at a movie or TV commercial set.

Actually, on second thought... they are actually much more like the art department people I've met. The special effects guys tend to be more serious, and often be missing fingers.

52. It's a decent show
It's too bad the two guys are such rotten scientists. They frequently (not always, but enough to make me not watch oftern) design their experiments to disprove a myth, claim it's been 'busted', when all along the experiment was a poor test to begin with.

I give them an 'A' for effort and for making skepticism so much fun, and a 'C' for actually trying stuff out.

Example: they did an episode where they test to see if a little child could be carried away by a bunch of balloons. A 5 second calculation on the weight of latex, string, and child vs. the bouyant force of the helium would have predicted the # of balloons needed. Then they could try it out and compare the prediction with the myth. That'd be real science.
