I hide all the TS threads and count the ones left. First it held steady at 13...then 11, then 10, then 7, now six...maybe back up to 7 again.

6. Toxic cultural times. After 4 years of toxic buildup with this

maladministration, I do think this is a culmination. It really has a feeling of something coming to a head. During the last 4 years, I can't believe how many people I've heard say, "I've never seen anything like it" when they describe life under Bush. Even people in their seventies. It always gives me a chill.

I don't know what's happened to DU but it can't be blamed on freepers, as some would like to do. DU is showing its nasty side.

This is a human being who never harmed anyone that I know of, whose only crime is that her heart and lungs continue to function, and most people here can't stand it that she's alive. I am totally disgusted with 99% of DU.

People think I'm a FReeper because almost all my messages go somewhat against the typical line (typical DU line, not the typical liberal or Democratic Party line)...but that's more about the fact that DU is not my emotional tampon or a forum for "me too's" as far as I'm concerned. If I'm posting something just because it feels good, or just to agree with everyone else, I'm wasting other peoples' time.
