"Santa Claus is a Black Man"
My favorite Christmas record, sung by a local (B'more) African-American child and her father. Basically an "I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" tale (child confuses daddy with Santa) with black power under theme.

1. You are from Baltimore?
I used to live there.
I lived up near Johns Hopkins.

I live in Annapolis now.

3. I am behind O'Malley
I think he is the best chance we have. He also has done a very good job in a very tough situation. Baltimore was going down so fast i thought it would be the next Newark, Gary, Indiana or East St. Louis---ruins where there were once cities.
Baltimore is beginning to turn around.

And yes, up with black Santa.

4. Personally, I'm happy O'Malley disbanded his
band. He didn't sing well and he needs to focus on this race...

Everyone knows "I saw Mommy kissing Santa" but not "Daddy" LOL!

I think "Santa Claus is a Black Man" is local...
