I got my corned beef too.. & people never cease to amaze me

Every year one of our vendors brings us sandwiches from a place called Slimans. It's is supposed to be THE place here in the city to get corned beef. They are pretty good size though. I weighed one on the stamp machine and it was 13oz.
It started out a few years back when he was just going to bring them in for the engineering dept. (my dept.), but some guy in sales had the balls to call him and tell him not to bother to show up if he didn't have one for the rest of the office. I was embarrassed. Today we hit a all time low..one guy put his name on the list knowing that he took vacation this week. He showed up a little while ago and grabbed the sandwich and went back home to eat it..lol. People amaze me.
