after he was arrested they tore his apartment building down and its still just an empty overgrown lot with a fence around it...creepy stuff, they're never going to build on it again...

19. a bunch of different styles
mostly a sort of punk/hardcore influence and that'll be most of the bands they're playing with; but if that's not your thing they're still high energy shows and always a good time

13. They did that with Paul Bernardo's place, too
I think they should build small parks in those places...try and reclaim some beauty.

10. he murdered a few people near me
several of his victims were killed in chicago. i don't remember now if he rented an apartment here, or just used one that was someone else's. but ed paschke, the painter, who had a studio here in roger's park for many years was a true crime fan. he knew a lot of the cops around. a body was discovered in a dumpster near here. they found the apartment where the murder had occurred and ed got the cops to let him take a peek. they were doing a luminol test, and ed said the whole apartment looked like a jackson polluck painting.
pretty hard to argue with a freezer full of evidence.

18. I know, Ive studied the case
and interestingly enough, Dahmer's lawyer was later lawyer for Green Bay Tight End, Mark Chmura which means to me he had a good lawyer then, but Ive read he was only a factor worker. The debate in the court room between the prosectuion and the defense was Dahmer's sanity.

20. high profile defendants generally get good lawyers
whether or not they can afford it. The lawyers like the publicity.

25. Yeah I know, funny how I remembered that though
about Chamura having the same lawyer as Dahmer. I also saw Michael Chernoff on a program about mob defense attorneys, no he wasnt defending the mob.
