So my dad went into the hospital today...
Nothing big - he's just getting a new plastic & titanium bionic knee.

Anyway - I'm over at his house checking things out & bringing the mail in, and I notice it's rather warm. I look at the thermostat & he's got it going at 70 degrees! I usually don't keep my house any warmer than 63 this time of year.

Am I crazy, or am I just a cheap-ass bastard?

1. Older people can have circulatory problems, and are often colder
than younger people.

2. That depends where you live
To be honest, I keep my house at 70 in the winter, and 80 during the summer. I live in one of the western states. 63?, I wear sweats!

3. Anything less than 70
and I'm shivering. Been that way all my life.

80 to 90 is pretty comfortable.
100 is a little on the warm side.

4. My mom was 87
when she was living with us and she would turn that thermostat up to 76 all the time when we weren't looking. Finally got her a heater for her room and settled for keeping the rest of the house at 72. Older folks can't take the cold.
