satan, take your hands off this team!
*snicker*
it's not heLping. :P

"Satan, take your hands off this team!"
- evangelist Carol Thomas, who led a prayer before a Hornets home game--she pleaded for a victory and
blamed supernatural powers for New Orleans' struggles this season (3/2/05)

1. I think both God and Satan (to those that believe Satan exists)
have larger fish to fry!

6. Yes, absolutely
It was clearly a demonic influence which has made England play rugby soooo badly recently, no other explanation. God was too busy making our cricket team perform semi-respectably, and so couldn't stop him.

5. Hmmm...I've seen this team play
and they are just not very talented. They try, but just are not good enough at this time. Maybe in a couple of years, but not now. I don't think it will have anything to do with the devil or god or buddha or allah though. I think they need better players.

10. god, satan, wh'ver.
i'm so tired of it all. i'm tired of hearing it, i'm tired of people pushing it and trivializing these awesome superpowers.

i was watching reruns of "ripley's beleive it or not". a powerlifter held the end of a bungee rope while his assistant jumped off the platform. after it was over he praised god and gave god credit for protecting the girl...from a stunt they planned and carried out in front of a tv crew. how did god intervene? it wasn't like he was able to save her from a tsunami or some other unplanned event. if he had dropped her would he have started praising satan for winning that round.

i just don't get it.
