XBox Live and wireless connection help needed

My son bought the X box live kit but we need to get access to his room. I have a cable modem connected to my computer via an ethernet connection. There is no way to run another ethernet line to his room so we have to go wireless but I have no clue how to do this! Any help appreciated. TIA.

3. you'll need two things:

A wireless router and an xbox wireless adapter.

I have a LinkSys wireless router that was very easy to set up and use. You need to make sure the router is also a switch/hub that allows you to run an ethernet cable through it to your main machine.
